My father died when I was nine, and I went through life never hearing- at least not remembering hearing- that everything’s gonna be okay. It was a thing my dad would have told me, I’m sure, over and over again had he been around.
What I found in my work with men is that many of us just never heard everything’s gonna be okay. And so one of the greatest gifts I can give to you right now, free of charge, is to let you know that everything is gonna be okay.
Trust your instincts. Ask for help. Don’t be afraid to do what you need to do. Don’t quit. And everything will be okay.
